The first step. To start the first wash, place the vinegar on the fabric softener chute of your laundry machine.
Use caution when using vinegar to whiten sheets
Don’t use too much vinegar. They are extremely strong and can cause damage to your washing machine.
Second Step. To soften the towels, sheets and comforter, add 1/2 cup baking soda to your machine. Your laundry soap should be added to the original section of your machine.
If you are concerned about the vinegar lingering aroma, use it first and then bake soda last.
Note: The chute of my laundry machine is 1/2 cup fabric softener.
After the drying stage, you won’t smell vinegar.
